Your AI strategy is lazy.
In fact it's killing your "personal brand".....
Alright, look I know you are terrified.
You scroll through LinkedIn or Twitter/X and you see all the AI slop. You see the “10x your productivity” gurus and the “AI is killing creativity” purists, and your brain just breaks….
So you quit those platforms and come to Substack and…..
YOU SEE THE SAME BS!!!!
lol.
Then your reaction is typically one of the following two camps….
Camp A) “This is the end of human connection.... Soooo I’m going to write everything by hand in a candle-lit room like some sad poetic genius!!!”
Camp B) “I must prompt everything! I will become a GPT-powered content machine!!”
Looks ridiculous and polarizing and like the last guru post u gobbled up doesn’t it?
Good. Now slap yourself and read on.
(lol but no really do it… but like gently aight)
Black and white thinking is just as lazy as the AI slop your favorite influencer just posted and will post again tomorrow.
Slop attracts slop.
But rebels, free thinkers and contrarians live in the grey AND ARE MY FAVORITE PEOPEL SO FACK THAT BLACK AND WHITE SHITE.
The whole “Dead Internet Theory” thing you’re so scared of isn’t being caused by AI itself. It’s being caused by this stupid, binary narrative peddled by lazy gurus and adopted by a lazy society. It’s being caused by people choosing to be either 100% human or 100% AI.
The 100% human approach gets you left in the dust. You’re slow, you’re inefficient, and you can’t compete with the content firehose.
The 100% AI approach gets you sounding like a robot. Your soul gets extracted, your voice gets homogenized, and you become part of the very problem you hate.
The winning strategy is to be both. It’s honestly not that deep.
Use AI to handle the boring back-end stuff.
Use your humanity to ACTUALLY connect with your audience.
Easy peasy.
Personally, I’ve always enjoyed writing unhinged like this and automating the hell out of the back-end like a total nerd.
I was banned over 10 times on LinkedIn for my unhinged writing but I refuse to stop. I refuse to become slop and become like the gurus I detest.
I believe you don’t need to pick a side.
You can use AI AND be so human it stands out.

The Rebel Toolkit: Your First Step to Not Being a Sucker
Okay, so you’re on board with the “use AI” part. But you’re smart. You know that when you use ChatGPT or Claude or Gemini, you’re basically handing over the keys to your kingdom. Every prompt, every idea, every piece of strategy is being fed into their data machine to train their next model.
That’s a sucker’s game.
Rebels need their own tools, want control of their data and are willing to work harder to achieve this truth…. AI tools that work for you, not against you. But let’s be real, running your own local AI models can feel like a massive pain in the ass. You need the right hardware, the right software… it’s a whole project.
(I will share how to setup AI locally in future newsletters but for now I’m giving you an easier option to consider to make your AI use a little more private)…
There are levels to this game.
For entry-level users who want to add a privacy layer right now, the place to start is Venice AI.
Think of it as your private, encrypted layer between you and the powerful AI models you need.
How it works:
Unlike ChatGPT, where your data is sent to OpenAI’s servers, Venice is designed to be private. When you use Venice, your prompts and your data are processed with a focus on privacy. It’s a simple browser-based interface that gives you access to powerful models without you having to set up a complex local system. Your data is processed locally on your machine and does not get sent to Venice servers.
Why it’s a great Rebel tool:
It’s an Easy Upgrade: You get the power of frontier models but with a much better privacy posture. It’s the simplest way to stop feeding the beast.
It’s a Bridge: It’s the perfect stepping stone. You get comfortable using a private interface now, and in future editions, I’ll show you how to take the next step and run models completely locally on your own machine.
It Protects Your Ideas: Your strategies, your audience research, your unfiltered thoughts… They all stay yours. This is non-negotiable for a Rebel Creator.
So look this is your first move. Personally I’ve stopped using public, data-harvesting tools for anything important. I’ve built layers of privacy stacks and sandboxed devices if I need to use a leading frontier model.
If you wanna do the same Venice is a great place to start.
Go check it out.
PS I was not paid by Venice to share their tool, but I did buy their yearly plan and use it daily for my own search needs and various AI use cases.

I’m just realizing I never got to hear the story of what you wrote that banned you 😂
Great article / blog. Thank you! I will check out Venice ai sometime! I appreciate you always guiding us in the right direction. 👏💫✨. Have the greatest day and week!
